Now that it's nearly September, I'm sure most of you are mourning the end of summer. Well, not me! Summer's just begun, now that Kelty and I survived our cross-country adventure, planting her ecstatically {and permanently} back on NW soil. The loveliest part of the season for us happens now, when fall begins sneaking up on summer. Little by little, the leaves begin to get crispy and rainbowed, the wind gets a bit fresher in the evenings, and the smells, OH GOOD GOD,THE SMELLS. For those of us sporting nordic complexions, the time has finally arrived to steal outside and catch up on the summery things everyone else has been enjoying the last few months {dressed in curduroy, stretch-knits and ankle boots, naturally}.
